Bring on the Fall
Nothing brings on the feeling of fall quite like pumpkin pie spiced goodies. Even without any actual pumpkin, a little of this sprinkled on breakfast porridge, sliced apples or warm milk are just a few extremely simple ways to welcome in the Thanksgiving spirit. Not only does it taste good, but it aids in digestion among many other things! It’s no surprise that these warming spices are just-so appropriate for the descending temperatures of the fall season.
I love the versatility of buying individual spices so they can be used for many different recipes. This mix is about as easy as it gets which is oh-so welcome as the holiday season approaches!
Ingredients
- 8 parts cinnamon
- 2 parts ginger
- 2 parts nutmeg

Instructions
- Mix together and store in airtight glass jar away from heat and light. I store my spices in the jars pictured above, in a drawer. This makes it so easy to spot what you're looking for and looks so beautiful and organized!
What are some of your favorite ways to use pumpkin pie spice mixes? Do you like it with a little less nutmeg or more cloves perhaps?
